WRITING

Sometimes I write poetry and other times there are stories. For now I only incorporate writing into my pieces when there is a message that needs to be told. A poem can also be inspiration for a new piece of jewellery. I would like to write books both for children and adults, with a bit of luck I'll get published and then that will also be on this site.

WOODWORKING

For sculptures and jewellery the main material I use is wood. The wood is sourced locally and the odd bit of exotic wood I use comes from leftover scraps from other woodworkers. I also use leather, precious stones, pearls, silver and gilded silver and sometimes unorthodox things like eggs when creating my jewellery. All boxes and bags are made from recycled cardboard and paper. To cushion the jewellery I use raw or matted wool which I process myself.
